  • Brief description and main results

    DECARBOMILE is a collaborative initiative led by 31 European partners, funded by the EU Research and Innovation program Horizon Europe. This project aims to achieve an unprecedented improvement in green last mile logistics in Europe, demonstrating the full potential of decarbonized last mile delivery and promoting sustainable practices in the industry.

    The solutions developed within the framework of the project will be tested and studied through their implementation in local technical, environmental and socio-economic contexts through four living labs in Logroño (Spain), Nantes (France), Hamburg (Germany) and Istanbul (Turkey). ), and four satellites in Tallinn (Estonia), Getafe (Spain), Ghent (Belgium) and Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

    Who can participate?

    To achieve its objectives, the DECARBOMILE consortium will collaborate with all types of interested agents, at a technical, social and economic level. The main categories will be the following:

    • Local workers or end users who provide feedback on delivery needs and adaptation to the local context.
    • Local businesses and logistics companies that support feasibility, installation and sustainability studies of the solutions.
    • Local institutions at the regional level that contribute with their large-scale vision to support the installation and replicability of the solutions.

    Consortium

    DECARBOMILE is carried out by a consortium of 31 partners that includes four universities, nine SMEs, two industrial partners and 16 public entities.
