Partner – Innogate to Europe devises and launches the CrossEUWBA project together with ITKAM, which takes the lead during its execution. Throughout the project, Innogate leads several of the activities, promoting the creation in Spain of a new club of women business angels for women entrepreneurs, providing training workshops for women entrepreneurs and for women business angels, as well as pitching events to present new projects and facilitate their financing.

With the aim of facilitating access to financing for women entrepreneurs (WE) through women investors (women business angels, WBA), CrossEUWBA implemented a series of activities structured around the following blocks:

– Information, awareness and communication activities, aimed at achieving a change in perception and addressing the lack of knowledge about the existing WBA networks, the financing opportunities they entail and the example to follow that are active women in this field.

– Training and mentoring activities, which prepare new WBAs through peer learning and practical training, as well as WEs to train their skills to present their projects to investors (“pitching”) and relevant business strategies.

– Community-building, matchmaking and networking activities through which emerging WBAs were identified, WE and WBA interests were combined and matched (also at cross-border level), and mutual learning was promoted between WBA networks, clubs and associations to develop a sustainable community.
